It was all at my fingertips and easy as hell to navigate. It was an incredibly efficient way to deal with 3-4 bands at a time…meaning something like 4 gigs with 3 bands in a week. This was HUGE, I could build a playlist in Spotify for every band I was working with and open them in ASM for audio, pitch changing, slowing down, panning on one side of the screen, and all my charts in a setlist on the other side of the screen. Then I realized I could hit my Spotify playlists directly in ASD. Transcribe didn’t run on the iPad so I started checking ASD out and found I could run ASD and forScore side by side on the iPad screen…so like a one stop learning platform. Since I was playing in so many bands and doing pickup gigs I started using an iPad with forScore for charts about 8 years ago. You can download Amazing Slow Downer free here.I still use transcribe for the harder passages, which are rare these days, mainly to mark rhythm markers so I can chart them correctly in GuitarPro and hear them back for reference. It is also possible to play a specific segment of a track, by specifying its start and end points. While playing your music, you may control the speed, pitch and change the channel mixing by using different sliders.
